  • Credits purchased are delivered by electronic transfer via the IMVU payment gateway.
  • All information provided will be confidential. However we reserve the right to share information with IMVU where necessary in instances of fraud, suspected fraud or credit transfer queries.
  • Please ensure that you enter your Avatar name correctly. If you enter an Avatar name that doesn't exist then we will be able to manually transfer your credits to the correct Avatar. However, if you enter the name of an existing Avatar the credits will be transferred to that account at the time of purchase. We are unable to retrieve credits once paid out so you will have bought credits for someone else.
  • You must have the owner's permission to use a credit/debit card or PayPal account when purchasing credits from Cassiopeian. Please be aware that should a chargeback or reversal be made after a successful purchase of credits from us because of unauthorised use, or for any other reason, your IMVU account will be disabled; you may also face criminal proceedings. This also applies to anyone using a parent's account without permission.
  • In order to protect our customers and ourselves from fraudulent activity, we have a policy of requiring e-mailed verification of attempted purchases in certain circumstances. In these instances, you will receive an automated e-mail informing you of the need for verification. The e-mail you send back must confirm that:
    • You are the owner of the e-mail account used, or you have the owner's permission to use it.
    • You are the owner of the PayPal account or credit/debit card, or have the owner's permission to use it.
  • The circumstances under which e-mail verification will be required are subject to change but may include (amongst other things) the number of credits purchased and the age of the IMVU account. Once that verification e-mail is received, your details will be added to our list of verified buyers so that no further verification will be required for any future purchases for that avatar. We may require further verification if you buy for a number of different avatars.
  • E-cheques are used when there are not sufficient funds in a PayPal account to make a purchase and there is no credit or debit card associated with the PayPal account. If you are paying by e-cheque, your credits will not be transferred until your e-cheque has cleared through the banking system into our PayPal account; typically this can take from 3 to 5 days but may be longer depending on the banking practices in your country of residence.
  • Any transactions which remain unprocessed after approximately 2 days, for reason of error or awaiting verification, will have the payment refunded.
  • Refunds for credits purchased can only be given if the full value of the credits purchased is returned to us. Refunds are not possible for Names or Name Change Tokens. Please remember that a "Name" only removes the "guest_" part of your Avatar name; to change your name entirely you need a "Name Change Token".
  • If you have any problem at all with your credit purchases please contact us and we will respond as soon as possible. Please do not send homepage messages to Cassiopeia as they will get lost amongst all the others.
